Home.

If you let me in

I will open

The house

In your heart

That has been

Locked shut.

Open the windows

Wide, and let

The light in

Where, before,

There was only

Darkness.

I will plant

Little trees

In your garden

And watch

As the flowers

Bloom.

I will wash

The floorboards

Where your sorrows

Have gathered

Like dust

And hang

Curtains of love

In all your windows.

I will turn

Your house

Into a home

If only you’d

Let me in.

But whenever I do check out the posts by the people I follow, you amaze me. Why do you write such beautiful stuff?โค

      2. Oh puh-leeeez! โœ‹ Hardly. I can’t even post consistently, for god’s sake. Also, my site starts acting up whenever it wants to.-.-
You, on the other hand?Crazy good stuff!๐Ÿ’š
I really can’t relate to half the stuff,if I be honest. Because when love comes into the equation, I am out. But even I can admit that you write everything including the love poems just as well as the other stuff.:D
And you’re very welcome, by the way!!๐Ÿ’‹

  1. The words are so beautiful. Yet, what stole the show for me was how the image of the house becomes a home when my mouse pointer enters the frame! So poetic, brilliant and awesome! Perfect fit for the verse! Loved it to the core.. ๐Ÿ˜€
