Darling, come take a look!

Hello, fellow humans. I decided that my previous about page was too boring, so I decided to change it.

I’m just another girl from India awesome. The one thing you absolutely need to know about me, is that I love books. I don’t just read books, I climb inside them and live there. Books make me feel good high.

I’m absolutely normal crazy and weird. Got-whacked-on-the-head crazy. But, people love me anyway. *winks* Stick around long enough, and you’ll love me, too. You won’t be able to help it. *shakes head*

I’m short, sweet, and sarcastic. And I love alliterations. (See what I did there?) Genius, right? *pats myself on the shoulder*

I’m a narcissist. *shameless grin* And, rude. But, don’t worry, I love you guys. *air-kiss* I’m rude only to people who get on my bad side.

Oh, and I guess I write too.

If you’re not running scared after reading this and decide to stick around, you might want to check this out for more information on yours truly.

Let’s get this party started!

You can follow me on Insta here. I’ll be posting my poems there as well.

Good luck Love,

      1. LOL! Well you know how people get board and have nothing better to do, but to go comment on other people’s about pages. I could have created an about page as uncluttered and and as good as yours, if only some dummy hadn’t already went and wrote all over mine first! I’m sorry, I’m just jealous.

  1. Hi! It’s Quartervida from http://quartervida.com/2015/09/02/control/.

i came on your site to learn more about you and read your writing, which so far I love. Right now your about me is displaying the automatic writing that the template came with. If you would like to add your own bio go to “My sites,” on the top right hand side when you are logged in. Then go to” Pages” and click on “about” to edit and post your own about me. Or if it gives you the option to edit the page it should be all the way at the bottom as opposed to the top where you would edit blog posts.

  2. I was so excited to see that you’d made the unconscious decision to follow my blog, that I just had to race over here to your about page (apparently it’s the latest thing to do and nobody knows why), and write on it. I realize that this defies explanation, in fact, I don’t even understand the compulsion to come over and scribble on it. And I would have hired a better writer than myself to come and say thank you for following me, but that requires cold hard cash (like silver dollars, half dollars, quarters, nickles and dimes etc…), and I’m notoriously known as a tightwad when it comes to silver, nickle and lead. This no doubt explains why I’ve never paid anyone to go thank those two guys with the dark sunglasses on, and ear thingy in their ears, who follow me around all day. Nevertheless, I feel a big thank you is in order for such blind devotion to my blog. However, I also feel it’s a little too early to ask you for cash in case I decide to run for President of the United States anytime in the near future, but that might not stop me from asking you for advise about pork-belly futures in case the Stock Market starts to recover. Anyway, thank you very much, Miss Book Thief for your deciding to follow me, as this will obviously make younger men jealous of me. But seriously… thank you and I hope all my post bring you to tears—with laughter of course! 😀

      1. Thank you, Akanksha, for ranking mine as the most hilarious. You see, once I had a blogger tell me that my thank-you-for following-my-blog response ranked only as high as third! Naturally, I knew there had to have been some kind of mistake, as I knew the other two—intimately. :O)

  3. are you kidding me? Do you even have to ask ““Would you like to know more about me?”. I know I do, you don’t get to meet such cool people everyday now, do we? I don’t….so yeah…

  7. You, miss, are interesting. Your posts say so and I love interesting people. They are amazing and have a lot of stories to tell. Call or random, call it weired but they are all unique and simply amazing. Carpe Diem. 🙂

      1. Am used to peering at people through a lens. Talk in terms of aperture and shutter speed and the first thing I see in a photo is not the model, rather the techniques used. Does that qualify as weird? :p

      2. 🙂
I like the minimalist way your blog is designed. Neat. The theme suits the blog aptly, and the occasional taxi is interesting. A bit of intuition says you for Terrible Tiny Tales religiously. Good job with the 6 letter story series 🙂

  8. Miss Book Thief, you are brilliant! I can hardly get out of your posts. Do you only have one tiny tale? I want more. I came over because you put a like on my Haiku “Silver Screen.” I guess that means we are together in writing201 (poetry). I’ll be looking for you.

  9. I absolutely love your description of how you feel about reading! I’m obsessed with reading and devour more books than I can afford to keep up, but I’ve never been able to put my love for books into words. You said it absolutely perfectly, “I don’t just read them, I climb inside them and live there”. That’s exactly how I am. I can’t wait to read more about your blog and your love for books.
